Visión y tradición its a program of residencies with a chosen state of Mexico to work with master artisans in different fields and the collaboration of Mexican designer plus a chosen country with international designers, this year France was invited.
I worked with a group of women called Taller Nuevo Amanecer. Their specialty is openwork and embroidery. We dyed the linen textiles with cempasuchil flowers and designed three collectible pieces called, “Cempasúchil collection”. One base lamp with a preakly pear cacti in open work, a hanging lamp with openwork and embroidery techniques representing different cempasúchil flowers and the biombo or separator, representing both native prehispanic plants.
